the story behind the artwork:
recently, i’ve been exploring the theme of the inner child, and that’s what led to this painting.
she was looking at the freshly prepped canvas and the bright coloured paints, and all she wanted to do was paint.
and so, i put my reference photo away, and let her at it. she picked the brightest colours and focussed on expressive strokes, and thus this painting was born!
a bright, colourful piece representing the opposite of overthinking, having your head in the clouds.
